We bring a weekend full of live music to the beautiful beach of Knokke-Heist. From Friday August 15th til Sunday August 17th you can enjoy your favorite music on the beach, with our headliner performing at sunset.  Ready to dive in?

Frequently asked questions

How do I get there?

You can reach the festival by Get Driven, bike, tram, train, taxi, or car. Bike parking is available near the entrance. The nearest tram stop is “Heist Willemspark” (300m from the site). If traveling by train, get off at Duinbergen station, which is a 10-minute walk from the festival. There’s also free parking in Zeebrugge, from where you can take a tram to “Heist Willemspark.”

At what time does the concert start?

The festival site opens at 19:00. The first performance starts at 20:00, and the second performance ends around 23:00.

How does the payment system work?

You can use direct pay at the bars. (card or phone payments) there is also a cashier open to top up cash to a spending card.

What food and drinks are available at the festival?

There will be a wide selection of food and drinks available at the festival site.

Refund system

Down By The Sea is a cashless event, all tokens can be refunded after the event. To be able to refund your wallet you need an account. Follow these steps to refund your tokens*:

1. Scan the QR code on your bracelet / card with your smartphone camera.
2. Log in or create an account.
3. Refunds can be requested per token by clicking on the “Manage wallet” button.
4. Eco-tokens are non-refundable.
5. Select the token type you would like to refund, click on “Refunds” and then click “Request Refund.”
6. Provide us with your IBAN number on which you would like to receive the refund.
7. Once the refund is requested, you can track the status of your refund. You will be notified when your request is accepted and processed.
8. Refunds start on Wednesday after the event and are refundable for one week.
